Featured Rug Hooking Workshops

Tamara’s rug hooking workshops are offered to guilds and fiber art groups across the U.S. Each class is built around artistic mentorship, original design, and deep personal creativity. From hooked portraits and landscape rugs to still life and abstract designs, you’ll be guided through the process of bringing your ideas to life in wool.

​Tamara Pavich is a textile artist, writer, and instructor based in Council Bluffs, Iowa. With a PhD in English and years of experience teaching creative writing and rug hooking, she brings a unique blend of narrative thinking and artistic exploration to her work. Since 2008, Tamara has helped fiber artists across North America find their voice through rug hooking.

She is the author of two beloved books in the fiber arts community, both designed to support artists in designing, drawing, and hooking their own patterns.
